I'm having issues with my MacBook Air 13" not connecting to my home Wi-Fi. It's strange because my boyfriend's MacBook and our iPhones connect without any problems. I've already tried quite a few troubleshooting steps:
1. Reset the router.
2. Forgot the Wi-Fi network.
3. Reset my MacBook.
4. Entered Google DNS settings.
5. Checked that there are no proxy settings enabled.
6. Made sure there are no VPNs running.
7. Changed the location settings.
8. Forgot all known Wi-Fi networks on my device.
9. Ran diagnostics but didn't get any useful info.
When I enter the Wi-Fi password, it connects for a few seconds before disconnecting and asks for the password again, over and over. I've looked for solutions on Reddit and YouTube and tried everything I could find, but nothing has worked. Can anyone suggest more things to try? Just to clarify, it's not an internet connection issue; my MacBook won't connect to Wi-Fi at all. Thanks!

Double-check if your MacBook is set to randomize its MAC address. Here's how to do that:
1. Go to the Apple menu and select System Settings.
2. Click on Wi-Fi on the sidebar.
3. Find your network and click on the Details or More Info button.
4. Change the menu next to Private Wi-Fi Address to Off.
5. Don't forget to save your changes!
Also, check your router's DHCP settings for any lease time issues.
Have you checked if your router is blocking the MacBook's MAC address? Sometimes, routers might have settings that prevent certain devices from connecting. You can look in your router's control panel to see if there's anything like that enabled.
Could it be as simple as having Caps Lock on, or maybe a key isn't working correctly? If your password has uppercase letters or symbols, make sure they're being typed correctly. Trying to re-enter it might help!
