I powered up my laptop two days ago, and my mouse has completely stopped working. The red light and RGB lights on the mouse are on, but it's not responding at all. I don't hear the connection sound, which makes me think it isn't connecting through USB correctly. I noticed that the HID mouse driver isn't showing up in the device manager, so I can't troubleshoot it from there. I'm running Windows 11, and I've updated it and restarted my laptop multiple times. I really don't think it's a hardware issue since I've checked the wire and it looks fine. Unfortunately, I don't have another mouse to test with, but I suspect my mouse isn't broken. Any help would be appreciated!

First, try uninstalling the mouse in the device manager and then reboot your laptop. That should reinstall the driver automatically. Sometimes, the mouse might be hidden in the device manager, so make sure to unhide it using the view menu. Also, if you haven’t tried yet, plug the mouse into a different USB port. If that doesn't work, try using another mouse if you can, to see if the original one is the problem.
How does one actually unhide it in the menu?
