Hey everyone! I'm feeling really confused right now. I just received my new graphics card, the 5080, but I can't seem to get it to show up in the BIOS. I've made sure it's seated properly in the slot and that the power cable is securely connected. Just for comparison, I put my old 3070 card back in, and it worked perfectly without any issues. Am I missing something here? Is there something else I can try to get the 5080 to work, or do you think it might be defective?

I think there might be a misunderstanding about what 'working' means here. If your PC boots and shows an image in the BIOS, it's technically working, right? You might need to ensure the monitor is connected to the correct output from the 5080 itself instead of the motherboard to see if it's recognized there.
Have you checked if your motherboard is compatible with the 5080? Sometimes, newer cards require a specific set of specs. For your Gigabyte B650M Gaming, it should be compatible, but double-checking the manufacturer’s site for any issues wouldn't hurt.
