I just installed a new CPU into my PC, and now I'm getting no signal on my screen. It felt really odd, so I swapped back to my old CPU, but the issue remains. Could this be a motherboard failure? Should I consider buying a new one?

A couple of things to check: Did you turn on the power supply before booting up? Sometimes it's the little things! Also, does the computer at least power on? Are the fans spinning, and are there any lights on the motherboard? If it does power on, check the motherboard model you're using, any debug lights that come on can be really helpful to diagnose what’s wrong. If you're still stuck, you might need to clear the CMOS to reset the BIOS.
Changing CPUs isn't always just a simple swap. You usually need to reset the BIOS, and don't forget that Windows might require some tweaking too. Make sure your motherboard is compatible with the new CPU and try connecting your monitor to the onboard graphics just to rule out any GPU issues.
First things first, have you checked for any bent pins on the CPU socket? That’s a common issue with new CPU installs. If everything looks good there, it might be something else at play. Just double check those connections!
