I've recently upgraded to a 5070 12GB graphics card, which was working fine for a few days. However, I needed to test my old 4060 for a potential buyer, so I removed the 5070. Now that I've reinstalled the 5070, I'm not getting any display on my monitor. I remembered that I should have uninstalled the old drivers before switching back to the 5070, but unfortunately, I no longer have my old GPU to help with that, and my CPU lacks integrated graphics. I'm really stuck here; what should I do?

First, double-check that you’re plugging your monitor into the GPU and not the motherboard. It can happen! If that’s fine, you might want to reset the CMOS. Just unplug the PSU, hold down the power button, and then either unplug the battery or bridge the CMOS pins. When I faced a similar issue with my 4070, I had to use a different port on the GPU to get a display. You could also try a different PCIe slot for the GPU and ensure you're using just one stick of memory in slot A2 for simplicity. Also, if you're using a modular PSU, make sure all the cables are snug, especially the ones connected to the GPU.

Definitely check those cables, too! If you're using any extensions for power cables, try removing them just to rule out connection issues.
