Hey everyone! I just upgraded my graphics card from an RTX 3050 to a 5060 Ti, but I'm having some trouble getting it to work. This is my first time installing a GPU, so I'm a bit nervous. I have a Gigabyte H610M S2H motherboard, a 550W power supply with a 6+2 power connector, and an Intel 12400F processor. Before the installation, everything was running smoothly. Now, I can't get the GPU fans to spin up at all! I followed a YouTube video for the installation process but had to unpin the PCIe slot with a screwdriver since it was tough to move. I didn't use excessive force, and my old GPU works just fine. Does anyone have tips for troubleshooting this issue? Also, I connected my monitors to the new GPU. Thanks!

If your old GPU worked, make sure all the cables are correctly connected to the new one. Sometimes it's just a seating issue. Check everything again just to be safe!
Awesome to hear it's fixed! For anyone else having a similar issue, a CMOS reset can really help when switching out hardware. Just keep those connections tight next time!
Don't sweat it! A lot of modern GPUs only spin the fans when they need to cool down, so it’s possible your fans haven’t kicked in yet. Try launching a game or a graphics-intensive app, and see if they start spinning then.
Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, my monitor is still black, and I can't enter Windows at all. Any other suggestions?
I actually managed to fix it! It turns out resetting the CMOS did the trick. Thanks for the help!
