Hey everyone! I put together a new PC for my friend, and we're facing a frustrating issue. Although the PC powers on without any hiccups, the monitor stays black and shows 'no signal'. The Q-LED indicator is solid, not blinking, which I'm hoping means everything is detected properly. We double-checked that the metal bar above the HDMI port isn't blocking anything and that all cables are securely connected. I've also attempted to update the BIOS using the FlashBack feature. I have a hunch that the RAM she chose, a Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000, might not be compatible with the ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard. Could that be why we're stuck with a black screen?

What color is the Q-LED indicator on the motherboard? If it's white and not blinking, it likely means the CPU, GPU, and storage devices are recognized. Just curious!
I've been in the same boat before. Have you checked which input the monitor is using? Sometimes it can default to a different input like DP instead of HDMI. It’s a simple fix but can be easily overlooked.
Another thing you might want to try is using a DisplayPort cable instead of HDMI. I've run into situations where HDMI doesn’t work until the OS is installed. Just a thought!
The HDMI works fine—I'm pretty sure it’s not the issue as the monitor is fine too.
It's definitely worth checking the RAM compatibility. If you didn't see that specific model on the ASUS compatibility list, it might cause booting issues. Still, a few other things could be the culprit too. Are you plugged into the graphics card's HDMI port and not the motherboard's? Double-check that too!
Yeah, we made sure it's connected to the graphics card and the GPU has power since its LEDs are lighting up.
Yeah, everything is set correctly on the monitor side. Still just the black screen!
