I've just built my first PC and I'm facing an issue. When I power it on, everything seems to be running smoothly, but my monitor shows 'no input'. I'm really looking for some guidance on what might be wrong. Thanks in advance!

What parts are you using? That can help figure out the issue. If you’re unsure, it might be worth double-checking your parts list to see if anything stands out.

It sounds like you're having a common issue for first-time builders. First, make sure your monitor's input settings are correct. If you're using a DisplayPort (DP) cable, your monitor needs to be set to DP as the input; otherwise, it won’t detect it. Also, check if your fans are spinning – that's a good sign that things are powered up. If you haven't already, try connecting the cable to the motherboard instead of the GPU. Sometimes, the GPU won't output anything until the drivers are updated, which has happened to me before.

Have you tried swapping the cable to HDMI? Sometimes the DisplayPort can be a bit finicky. If it doesn't work with HDMI, then there's likely something else going on.
