Help! My New RTX 5070 Ti GPU Isn’t Displaying Anything

I recently upgraded from an older RTX 4060 to a new RTX 5070 Ti, but I'm facing issues. The fans and lights on the GPU turn on, but my monitor sometimes shows no display. I've tried different HDMI ports and although I have a DisplayPort, the cable doesn't fit. Everything else seems fine—my BIOS works, and all PSU connections are solid. However, whenever I attempt to install the NVIDIA driver, the screen goes black and displays 'No Signal'. Occasionally, my keyboard and mouse disconnect momentarily, while audio continues to work. I attempted to uninstall the old drivers using DDU in safe mode and even did a clean install of Windows 11, but the problem persists. The BIOS settings are set to PCIe Gen2, but I've also tried Gen3 and Auto. The PSU is 850W and connected correctly. I've checked for conflicts in MSInfo and the registry, but nothing significant stands out. Windows runs, but as soon as I install the NVIDIA driver, my display goes off again.

What motherboard and CPU are you using? It's crucial to ensure they’re updated to the latest BIOS as well as the chipset drivers. Also, make sure that all power connections to the PCIe adapter and the GPU itself are tight without any gaps. Operating on the highest PCIe version available is important since using PCIe 2.0 could hinder performance.

I have a lot of questions because I'm not very experienced with PC setups! How do I go about updating the BIOS? I'm a bit worried that I might accidentally mess something up. For the chipset drivers, how do you update those, too? My CPU is an Intel i5-14400F and my motherboard is a Koloe H610M4-Plus.

Have you double-checked if the HDMI cable is securely connected to your GPU? It sounds basic, but it's worth confirming. Also, can you clarify what you meant by the DisplayPort not fitting—is it too short or just incompatible? Trying a different HDMI cable might be a good idea if you have one handy, just to rule out cable issues.
