I recently bought a brand new Samsung QLED Q7F TV, but it stopped working just three weeks after I got it. I previously owned a Samsung TV for seven years without any issues, but after a book fell on it, I decided to replace it with this new model. I'm not very tech-savvy; I just want a TV that has decent picture quality and is good for streaming. Now, the new TV doesn't turn on at all—neither from the remote nor the power button on the TV itself. The only thing connected to it was a Roku via HDMI. I've spent two days on hold with Samsung's customer service trying to get help, and a technician appointment was scheduled but got changed. Is this experience typical with Samsung TVs and their customer service? I'd appreciate any guidance!

If you haven't tried this yet, you could try unplugging the TV for a bit, then hold the power button for about 30 seconds. This can sometimes discharge any built-up static electricity. Once you've done that, plug it back in and see if it turns on. It worked for me once!
I’ve heard that the newer Samsung TVs can be prone to issues. I personally put them on my 'Do Not Buy' list after hearing so many horror stories. If you can, I’d definitely consider returning it and looking into other brands. Customer support has really not been reliable for many users lately.
Check if you have any warranties. There are usually two: one from the retailer and the other from Samsung itself. Samsung generally offers a 90-day warranty for TVs, so you might still have options there.
Have you thought about just returning it to the store? Most places have a return policy, and if it's been so short after purchase, you might just get a refund or exchange easily. Everyone I know has had success with that!
Just keep in mind that the return policy is usually around 14 days, so if you're right on that timeline, you might want to act fast!
