I found an old HP laptop from around 2020-2021 that I barely used because it was super slow. I factory reset it hoping for better performance, but I'm still facing issues. My Task Manager shows 100% disk usage, and I've done everything I can think of: malware scans, uninstalling unnecessary apps, and adjusting startup preferences. I'm really stuck and would appreciate any help! Thanks!

It could be a failing hard drive. What model do you have? You can find that info in Task Manager.
Just to chime in, a dying disk might be your issue. If it’s the Toshiba MQ04ABF100 model, that could definitely be the culprit. You might want to consider a replacement.
You should check which app or service is using up all that disk time. Often, it's the indexing service that can get bogged down, or it might be a virus scan running in the background.
