I woke up a couple of days ago to find that my PC couldn't connect to the internet. Everything seems connected, but when I checked the advanced network settings in Windows 11, it said "no DHCP server was found." I've never encountered this issue before and have done tons of research to fix it. I tried every workaround I could find, including using commands to stop and start IP services, flushing the DNS, and updating network adapters. I even uninstalled and reinstalled everything, but nothing worked! I also tried connecting via Ethernet (even though I typically use Wi-Fi), and while my router is sending bytes, my PC isn't sending anything back. The weird thing is, all the other devices in my home are connecting just fine. My friend thinks my Wi-Fi card might be busted, but I doubt that since the Ethernet connection isn't working either.

Before diving deeper, can you confirm if other devices work with the same router? If they do, consider switching to a manual DNS, like 8.8.8.8 from Google. It might help!
You could also try setting a static IP address for your PC. Sometimes that resolves connectivity issues while you troubleshoot.
Did you recently install any new software or VPN clients? Sometimes these can change your network settings. Also, check that the DHCP client process is running—look it up in services.msc.
Have you tried rebooting your router? Sometimes everything seems fine until the DHCP lease expires. A quick restart usually does the trick.
