Help! My PC Display Won’t Show After Restart

Hey everyone, I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to PCs, and I'm having a frustrating issue. My PC was working fine, but suddenly the display went black. I restarted it, but now there's no display at all, even though the case lights and fans are running. I've checked the HDMI cable and switched it out, but that didn't help. The cable was connected firmly, so that's not the problem. I also tried removing the RAM sticks, cleaned them and the slots, and put them back, which made the display work briefly (like 2-3 minutes), but then it went away again. I've tried using just one RAM stick and swapping them around, but no luck. Sometimes the case powers on and off repeatedly or just stays on without displaying anything. I even took out my graphics card and reinstalled it. I really need my PC working for an upcoming exam. Can anyone help?

Hey, thanks for sharing your specs! It looks like you have a decent setup. Since you’re new to this, if you want to reset the BIOS, usually there’s a way to do it through a button on the motherboard, but you might have to look up how to access it first. As for the HDMI on the motherboard, check the back of your PC—there should be a slot for it. If you need help, feel free to post a photo!

It sounds like you might need to check a few things. First, can you tell us what your specs are, like your motherboard and GPU? Also, have you tried resetting your BIOS? If you have any custom settings, that could be messing things up. And don't forget about your power supply for the GPU—make sure it’s adequate! One more thing, if you haven't already, try disconnecting the GPU and using the HDMI port on your motherboard instead.
