Yesterday, my cat spilled some Monster energy drink on my PC, specifically on the right side where the numbers are. I acted fast, dried it off, turned it off, and stood it up to dry. After waiting 24 hours, I turned it back on, and it worked! It wasn't a huge spill, but it was more than just a couple of drops. Now, however, I'm noticing a couple of strange things: it takes longer to turn on and there's a weird beeping noise, kind of a 'pew' sound, when I power it off using the button. Everything else seems fine and it's not slow in operation. I checked inside and the battery and fans look okay. Should I have it cleaned or checked out further?

It sounds like you've done a good job drying it out! If you checked everything and the spill seems isolated to the keyboard, then you might be okay for now. But keep in mind, liquid damage can cause issues later on, especially with corrosion. If the keyboard starts acting funny or stops working completely, consider replacing it. Meanwhile, if you can, try using an external keyboard and disconnect the internal one to see if that resolves the beep issue. Just make sure to keep an eye on any other weird behavior!
Thanks for the advice! So it could be the keyboard causing that beeping? I've noticed when I shut down without using the power button, it doesn't happen. Should I check the keyboard connections too?
