I'm having some trouble getting my PC to start up. It seems like the power cuts out every few seconds during the boot process. I noticed there's a red light on the motherboard, and then I hear a series of 5 beeps before it shuts off and tries to reboot again. I have a Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3P motherboard, and I've read that this might be related to the CPU, but everything with the cooling looks fine. I really hope it's something I can fix myself with the right guidance. Any help would be appreciated!

The beeping you’re hearing is likely an error code. Usually, a combination of long and short beeps can indicate different problems. Since you mentioned it's 5 long beeps, that typically points to issues related to the CPU—often it's about it being unseated, or there could be a problem with the motherboard itself. Check to make sure the CPU is properly in place and that there are no bent pins. Also, ensure your power supply connections are secure. Good luck!
Yeah, definitely check if the GPU is seated properly too. Sometimes it can cause similar problems. Make sure everything is snug.
