I'm not a total newbie when it comes to PCs, but I'm definitely no expert either. Recently, a friend thought it would be funny to mess around with installing cheats for a game, and unfortunately, he ended up getting my computer infected with viruses. I used Hitman Pro and Malwarebytes to clean it up, and while they say the viruses are gone, my computer is still running super slow. I'm experiencing lower FPS in games and general sluggishness in media. Any suggestions on what to do next? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

It’s really risky to install cheats, and it often leads to malware issues like you’re experiencing. The most reliable way to make sure all the malware is completely gone is to wipe your drives and do a fresh install of Windows using a USB stick. That should help boost your performance back to normal!
Another route you might consider is changing your passwords after you've cleaned your system. Also, enabling two-factor authentication wherever possible can help secure your accounts further after such incidents.
Is there a tutorial video you can recommend for reinstalling Windows? I’m not sure how to do that.
