Help! My PC is stuck on a black screen after playing Battlefield 6 beta

Hey everyone! I was playing the new Battlefield 6 beta test when suddenly my PC turned off. After rebooting, I was greeted with a black screen. I tried changing the HDMI cable, but that didn't help. I even replaced my GPU, but no luck—still a black screen. Is there a straightforward way to troubleshoot this without having to replace each component one by one? I'm starting to think my motherboard might be shot.

Also, I've noticed something weird: I have a 2x16 GB RAM kit, and my system usually shows 32 GB total. However, Task Manager has recently reported only 16 GB detected from the second DIMM slot. Could this be related? Thanks for your help!

You might want to try removing and reseating your RAM sticks one at a time. Sometimes a loose connection can cause those black screen issues. If the BIOS flashback doesn't fix it, checking the RAM slots could help. Once your system is running again, you can test your monitor with a site like blacktestscreen.com to make sure it's functioning properly.

It sounds like Battlefield 6 might be messing with systems that have Secure Boot enabled. A bunch of players have reported this. It could be a BIOS issue with your motherboard, so you might need to do a BIOS flashback to get your PC up and running again. Just check online for instructions on how to perform a flashback with your specific motherboard, as they can vary a bit.
