Hey everyone! I'm building my first gaming PC and moving away from my aging laptop, which has an Intel Core i7-7700HQ and a GTX 1050. The laptop has a noisy 1TB HDD too, so I'm excited for this upgrade! I have a decent budget, but I want to avoid overspending on high-end parts like the RTX 5080 or 5090 when the performance gain is minimal.
I'm particularly unsure about the CPU cooler. I've read that the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro is a great option, but I also like the look of coolers with LCD screens. I'm considering the Thermalright Grand Vision 360 ARGB, but I'm worried about its noise levels. Any recommendations for a quiet and efficient AIO cooler that has an LCD screen?
Here's my current build:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core
**CPU Cooler:** ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB 360
**Motherboard:** Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7
**Memory:** G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000
**Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB NVME SSD
**Video Card:** Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
**Case:** Antec FLUX ATX Mid Tower
**Power Supply:** be quiet! Pure Power 13 M 850 W 80+ Gold
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

I'm also building a similar setup! Regarding your SSD choice, you don't necessarily need to stick with Samsung. I'm picking a Kingston 4TB SSD that's well-reviewed and cheaper than Samsung. You might save some cash there!
For the CPU cooler, I think an all-in-one water cooler like yours could be overkill. A good air cooler, like the Peerless Assassin 120, performs really well and is reliable. It's also more cost-effective!
As for the motherboard, look into B650E options, which you can get for less than B850. They won't skimp on features and can support future upgrades. If your case comes with good airflow, like mine, you might not need to splurge on extras like fans.
Lastly, double-check your PSU wattage; 750W should be fine for your build unless you're planning to overclock things significantly!

Great tips! I chose Samsung mainly for reliability. Kingston seems promising, and I might save a good amount. For the cooler, I thought about noise and looks, but I guess a strong air cooler could be just as good. My motherboard choice isn't much pricier than the B650E, and I want the future WiFi 7 option.
The Antec case provides good airflow with included fans, but I’ll keep an eye on prices!
