I'm having a serious issue with my PC that I can't seem to resolve. It has suddenly switched to a temporary account, and I'm unable to get it back to normal. Additionally, my Ethernet port isn't working, which leaves me without internet access since I don't have a working WiFi card. Whenever I try to log in through Edge, I encounter the error codes: 3, 15, 1067. I attempted a fix I found on Reddit, but it didn't help. I also tried using my ADATA USB flash drive to install WiFi drivers, but it doesn't show up in the system and the device manager states, "Setup incomplete, Connect to the internet" under the USB stick. I'm at my wits end and really need some advice!
Here are my system specs:
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (24 GB)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core Processor
- Motherboard: ROG Strix B650E-F gaming WiFi
- OS: Windows 10

First off, let's tackle the temporary account issue. It sounds like your profile got corrupted somehow. Try restarting your PC and see if it allows you to log into your usual account. If that doesn't work, accessing your account settings in Safe Mode might help. Just press F8 as your PC boots up to enter that mode.
Regarding the Ethernet issue, you mentioned possibly that it could be a router port problem. Make sure to test out different cables and ports on your router. Sometimes, it’s just a simple cable issue. Do you have any other devices that can connect to the same network? If your home WiFi still works with other devices, focus on checking cable connections and try to update your network drivers once you’re back online.
Lastly, about the USB flash drive not being recognized, try plugging it into a different USB port or see if the USB stick is formatted correctly. If you’re stuck, using a different USB drive might be a good idea too!
Let me know how it goes!
If it's a profile issue, definitely try booting into Safe Mode first! You can sometimes fix stuff from there that wouldn’t work normally.
