Help! My PC Keeps Crashing and I Think It Might Be My SSD

I'm having a frustrating issue where my PC crashes randomly. Initially, I got a 'critical process died' error, which forced my computer to restart. After reinstalling Windows 11 from scratch, I started encountering a 'kernel data inpage error'. Once, I even saw a black screen with a 'boot device not found' message. I'm not very tech-savvy, but I spoke to someone who suggested looking at the event logs, and we found an error labeled volmgr 161. They mentioned this indicates a possible SSD failure. When I stress-tested the SSD using CrystalDisk, it didn't show any issues, but when I ran an HD Tune Pro error test, it only assessed up to 409.68 GB—my SSD is 512 GB, so it doesn't seem to check the full drive. Could my SSD really be failing, especially since my Windows is fully updated? My SSD is a Micron 2210.

It sounds like you've got some serious issues going on. First things first, try running the chkdsk command on your SSD to see if it can find any errors. Just open the command prompt and type ‘chkdsk C: /f’ (substituting C: with the correct drive letter if needed). That might help pinpoint if there's something wrong with the disk.

Also, just a heads up, I had a similar issue before, and it turned out running the chkdsk did help, but you might also want to consider disabling BitLocker if you're using it. Sometimes it can cause problems if there's any corruption.
