Help! My PC Keeps Crashing Randomly and I Can’t Figure Out Why

Hey everyone, I've been dealing with a frustrating issue on my PC for about a year now. It keeps crashing unexpectedly. When it crashes, I can still move my mouse and click around, but I can't open or do anything. Just today, it crashed while I had Discord and three Google Chrome tabs open. I noticed in Task Manager that my CPU was only at 4%, memory at 19%, with both disks at 0%, and my GPU was maxed out at 100%. Everything freezes and I have to force shut it down by pressing the power button.

This started happening pretty infrequently at first, just a few times a month, but in the last few weeks, it's been happening almost daily. I could be doing homework, watching videos, or making music, and then it just locks up. I've run Malwarebytes multiple times, but it hasn't found any threats. I was concerned it might be a CPU issue, but I'm not sure what to think. Here are my PC specs:

- Motherboard: GIGABYTE B450 AORUS ELITE V2
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
- GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC 6G
- RAM: 4x G.SKILL Trident Z 8GB DDR4 3600
- PSU: Rosewill 80 Plus Bronze 550W
- SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2
- HDD: Western Digital 1TB WD Blue
- WIFI CARD: Unit Ax200 2974Mbps
- OS: Windows 10

If anyone has suggestions on how I can troubleshoot or fix this problem, I would really appreciate the help!

You might want to check the Event Viewer to see if there are any crash logs or errors that might give a clue about what's going wrong. Given that you mentioned your GPU was at 100%, it could be an issue with your graphics card or drivers as well. Sometimes old drivers cause these kinds of crashes. Try updating or rolling back your GPU drivers and check if the problem persists. Good luck!
