Help! My PC Keeps Crashing with BSOD After Gaming

I've got an AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT 12 core processor, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. Everything was running fine until I played a game for about 30 minutes. Suddenly, my PC crashed and displayed a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) for just a couple of seconds. After restarting, I tried playing again, but the same thing happened. I've switched games, and I still keep getting BSODs. My temperatures are all normal, except for a time about a month ago when my PC overheated because my room was really hot with a heater on. Other than that, my PC handles games well. I've noticed some GPU sag, but I've already gotten a support stand for that. I'm planning to reapply thermal paste to my CPU in a few days. Does anyone know what could be causing these BSODs?

Regarding your overheating issue, keep in mind that heat damage can accumulate over time. Even if your temps are fine now, it's crucial to redo that thermal paste on your CPU soon to avoid further issues. If the crashes persist after that, it could be a sign of memory corruption or a hardware malfunction.

It sounds like you're getting some random BSODs without any dump files to diagnose! Have you checked your C:WindowsMinidump folder for crash logs? If you can get into Windows or Safe Mode, you can look there and upload any dump files you find to a file-sharing site for analysis. It’s best to have multiple files if possible. If you don’t find any files, you might want to change the dump settings to Small Memory Dump so it saves the next time your PC crashes.

Also, if you don’t have any dump files, you should run a system report tool like Specify. It gives insight into your OS and hardware, which can help us troubleshoot better. Just download it, run it, and it will give you a link to share the report. Don’t forget to check the link's expiration time!
