Lately, I've been facing a frustrating issue with my computer shutting down unexpectedly—it's like the power gets cut off, but no BSOD appears. After one of these shutdowns, it won't turn back on for a while; sometimes it tries to boot multiple times before actually powering on. I swapped out my M.2 drive and thought that fixed it for a bit, but the problem has come back. I've run RAM tests (even tested the sticks individually), performed system file checks, and DISM scans with no errors. I've also replaced the PSU, reconnected all the cables, and replaced the CMOS battery, while keeping an eye on CPU temperature during gaming and other heavy tasks to ensure there's no overheating. I'm looking for some advice on what could be causing these random shutdowns!

It sounds like your motherboard might be the culprit, especially if the new power supply is functioning well. Given that you’ve swapped out the M.2 drive and done all those checks, it really does point towards a hardware issue rather than software or drivers.
Have you tried resetting the BIOS? It’s worth checking out your motherboard’s manual. Many have a specific jumper to do this, or you can try pulling the battery while everything's unplugged, leaving it for a few minutes before plugging back in.

Oh, I actually pulled my CMOS and reseated it already, forgot to mention!
