Help! My PC Keeps Restarting When I Game

Ever since I built my PC, it keeps restarting itself every time I try to play games. I've already replaced the GPU and power supply, and the memory test came back fine. I made sure the motherboard isn't touching the metal plate of the case and checked that neither the CPU nor the GPU are overheating. I'm stuck on what else to check. Here's my setup for context:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT (16GB)
- Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B450M-A II
- RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-2666 MHz (G.Skill)
- Storage: 2TB Samsung SSD (likely NVMe, similar to WD SN850X)
- PSU: Thermaltake Smart 700W (80+ certified)

Just to be thorough, did you look over the temperatures while gaming? If they spike too high, that might lead to restarts. What are the max temps when you're gaming?

They don't go over 65°C at all.

Make sure your GPU power cable is connected properly. If it's loose, that could cause restarts. Did you double-check everything?

CoolCat42 -

Yep, the cable is securely connected.

It sounds frustrating! Since you've replaced the PSU already, that’s good. When you mentioned 'memory test passed,' can you elaborate on which tests you ran? Sometimes issues can be subtle. Also, how are the temps looking during gaming?

I used Windows built-in memory diagnostics as well as Memtest86, and both passed.
