I've been struggling with my PC for over a week now, and I really need some help! Here are my specs: CPU is an FX-8320, GPU is an ATI 6350, I have 8GB of DDR3 RAM, an ASUS M5A99X Evo R2.0 motherboard, an Arctic Freezer Stream CPU cooler, and a 600W Be Quiet power supply. The problem is that my PC shuts off as soon as I try to run anything demanding, like Chrome, Minecraft, Rocket League, or Call of Duty. It even shuts off when I open the BIOS for longer than 15 seconds or when I plug in speakers. However, everything is fine on the home screen. I've tested other operating systems like Linux and Android and the same issue occurs. Oddly, I was able to run Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.114 without problems before, but then my Windows got corrupted and after reinstalling it, the shutdown issue remains. Any ideas on what I can do?

I recommend taking a closer look at your VRMs (Voltage Regulator Modules); they might be overheating, which can lead to sudden shutdowns. It could be a sign that something isn’t cooling properly. If you're up for it, try monitoring your temperatures while you're running any applications.
Honestly, it sounds like your PC is a bit outdated. It’s not surprising that it might struggle with newer applications. Have you checked the thermal paste on your CPU and made sure your fans are functioning properly? Those could be contributing factors. Also, since your PC is vintage, letting it take a breather might help too!
Regarding upgrades, the case, cooler, and PSU can definitely be reused, but you might want to consider investing in a more capable CPU or GPU if you’re looking to play games other than Minecraft Bedrock. You can usually find decent upgrades for around $30, which isn’t too bad!
I appreciate the advice, but I'm really trying to play more demanding games that I know this setup should handle!

I get that, but budget constraints can be tough. Just make sure everything is still working well enough to avoid further damage!
