Help! My PC Keeps Turning Off and Won’t Start Correctly

I was using my PC when it suddenly turned off by itself. When I powered it back on, it tried to install a Windows update that I hadn't initiated. Unfortunately, it shut down again during the update. Now, when plugged in, the RGB lights on the motherboard light up, but nothing else happens. Pressing the power button results in the fans spinning briefly and a white LED on my GPU turning on for a moment, but then it stops, and the system goes back to how it was. After that, the power button seems unresponsive until I unplug the power cable and plug it back in, which lets me press the power button once with the same outcome. The motherboard's RGB stays lit, but none of the diagnostic LEDs are active. This issue cropped up about a month ago, but letting it sit unplugged seemed to temporarily resolve it. To troubleshoot, I've reseated all power connectors, removed and then reseated the CMOS battery after a five-minute break, reseated my RAM, left it unplugged for a time, and even attempted to turn it on by shorting the power button pins with a screwdriver. Some friends of mine suspect that the power supply might be faulty. My specs include: Gigabyte Eagle RTX 3060 Ti OC, Ryzen 5 5600, Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 (2x8GB), Crucial P3 Plus 2TB (x2), Kolink Core RGB 600W, Tuf B550 Plus Wifi II, and I'm running Windows 11.

Sounds like a power supply issue to me. Make sure all three rails on your PSU are delivering the correct voltage. If they’re off, that could definitely cause those shutdowns and weird behavior. If you have access to a spare power supply, it might be worth testing with that to rule it out!

Rails? What do you mean by that? Is it something I can check easily?

It could also be a motherboard issue. Sometimes the connections can get loose, or there might be a short somewhere. Since you've reseated everything, try booting with only essential components connected. If it starts up fine, you can add the others back one at a time to see if one of them causes the issue.
