Help! My PC Starts but Monitor Won’t Display Anything

I'm having a frustrating issue where my PC powers on, but my monitor shows no display. I was in the middle of playing a game when it froze, and since then, I'm getting nothing but a blank screen. I've checked all the cables and inputs, and the monitor itself has power because the light indicates it's on. I've also tried using different video ports on my computer, but I don't have a spare graphics card to test with. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

First off, it's good to check all the basics. Have you confirmed that the PC actually booted? Sometimes the system might power on, but there may be an issue like a graphics card failure. Given your situation, make sure to check all connections again and try different ports on both the monitor and the PC. If possible, see if you can test another monitor just to rule out any issues with your current one.

Yeah, I made sure everything was connected properly and tried different ports. That's when I noticed the monitor is on but just not displaying anything.

Sounds like a classic case of a video output issue! After cleaning your PC, sometimes RAM sticks can get shifted. I recommend switching the RAM slots around and testing again. Also, consider removing the CMOS battery on the motherboard to reset the BIOS settings—it can help in cases like yours.
