Help! My PC Won’t Boot After a BIOS Update Attempt

I recently got a prebuilt ABS Cyclone Aqua from a friend and installed a new SSD along with Windows. After that, I needed a Wi-Fi driver, so I downloaded it along with the latest BIOS update from MSI onto a flash drive. I plugged the drive into the PC, and while it turned on, there's no display coming up. I've already tried resetting the CMOS battery, rechecking the SSD connections, and jumping the JBAT1 pins, but nothing seems to work. The specs are a Pro B760M VC Wi-Fi motherboard, an i5 14400F CPU, and a Gigabyte 4070 GPU, but I'm not sure which BIOS version it originally had. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you can somehow access the BIOS settings, check if the build date has changed after the update. If it has, reset everything to optimized defaults, adjust the date and time, and confirm that your boot order is correct. Also, make sure that Secure Boot and TPM are enabled, as they usually are by default.

Try disconnecting all non-essential hardware and restart using the onboard graphics. Sometimes overwriting settings can cause display issues. Cross your fingers and hope it works!

Check if your BIOS update USB port is functional. Many motherboards have a designated port for flashing the BIOS even without a display. Just put the BIOS file on a USB, plug it into that port, and hit the dedicated button for flashing.

Did you flash the BIOS update, or just download it? Make sure you've actually run the installation for the BIOS update and not just copied the files to the USB.
