Help! My PC Won’t Boot After BIOS Update

I built my custom PC using NZXT parts, and it was running fine aside from a few minor frame drops and Ethernet issues. NZXT suggested I update the BIOS, so I followed the instructions from MSI's website carefully and installed the latest stable BIOS. However, after the update, my PC rebooted, and I'm now seeing an error code 44 on the motherboard, with both the red and yellow debug lights on. There's no output to my displays, and I can't access the BIOS since my keyboard seems locked. I even tried resetting the CMOS, but that didn't help. Then, I attempted a BIOS flash using a USB drive formatted to FAT32 with the latest BIOS file renamed to MSI.ROM, but the flash button doesn't show any indication of activity. For reference, my motherboard is the MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI. I'm feeling overwhelmed and would really appreciate any guidance!

That error code might be pointing to RAM issues. I’d suggest trying a minimal boot setup: disconnect all drives (both M.2 and SATA) and just use one stick of RAM in the default slot. See if that gets you any further!

After you try that, I’d boot up and see if you get any output first. No need to flash the BIOS again unless it turns out you’re still having issues.
