Help! My PC Won’t Boot After Installing an NVME Drive

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC with an NVME SSD (Western Digital SN7100), but now I'm having major issues. My setup includes:

- Motherboard: B450 A Pro
- GPU: Nvidia 2060
- CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X (using the stock cooler)
- RAM: Two 4 GB sticks of Ripjaws and one 8 GB stick from Ballistix Micron
- Original boot SSD: 512 GB Crucial SSD

While installing the NVME, I messed with a screw on the motherboard and disconnected an old SSD that was just receiving power. I think I might have used a too-small screw to secure the NVME. Now, when I try to boot up, my monitor shows no signal, even though everything was working well before the installation.

I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps:
- Removed the NVME
- Reseated the GPU
- Booted without the GPU since I don't have integrated graphics
- Tried various RAM configurations
- Removed the motherboard and powered it outside the case
- Cleared the mobo battery for 20 minutes
- Attempted to boot with just one RAM stick
- Reconnected the original SSD

I'm at a dead end and worried that I may have damaged the motherboard or something else. Any ideas on what I should try next?

Just a thought, but did you accidentally connect your monitor to the motherboard instead of the GPU? Make sure everything is plugged in correctly there. If your fans are spinning and you've got that VGA light on, you're at least getting power. It's a good sign!

No, the monitor is connected to the GPU, and everything is spinning when I turn it on. The VGA light still comes on too.

First off, don't stress! Have you double-checked to make sure your power supply is on and all your cables are properly connected to your monitor? Sometimes things get jumbled after working on your setup.

Also, have you tried booting the PC with just the motherboard, the CPU, and one stick of RAM? Remove everything else like SSDs, USB drives, or other peripherals. This can help to isolate any issues. If the fans are running, you might be getting a light code from the motherboard - check for that too!

No question is a dumb question! Yes, the PC powers on, all the fans run, and the white light next to the VGA is on. I've double-checked all the cables and even tried different ones with a different monitor.
