I've built my first gaming PC about a year ago and it's been running smoothly until now. I've had issues seeing or changing fan speeds, but they run quietly, so I wasn't too worried. Recently, I decided to pull the JFP1 wires out of curiosity. After looking up their pinout, I hooked them back up and double-checked everything. Now, my PC won't boot at all! First, double-check that the cables are inserted correctly. Sometimes they can look right but aren't making proper contact. Also, ensure you’ve tried both orientations; it might surprise you! If you’re still not getting any response, there could be something else at play.
If there are no LEDs lighting up on the motherboard, your power supply might be the culprit. I've had a few die on me, and it usually happens without warning. Just to rule it out, make sure you've tested with a known working PSU if you can. I know it’s frustrating getting stuck like this!
