Help! My PC Won’t Boot After Messing with the Connections

I've built my first gaming PC about a year ago and it's been running smoothly until now. I've had issues seeing or changing fan speeds, but they run quietly, so I wasn't too worried. Recently, I decided to pull the JFP1 wires out of curiosity. After looking up their pinout, I hooked them back up and double-checked everything. Now, my PC won't boot at all! The power button does nothing. I've even tried jumping the JFP1 pins, but that didn't help. I'm really stuck and have no idea what to do next.

First, double-check that the cables are inserted correctly. Sometimes they can look right but aren't making proper contact. Also, ensure you’ve tried both orientations; it might surprise you! If you’re still not getting any response, there could be something else at play.

Yeah, I’ve checked the polarity and tried jumping the power switch wire with a screwdriver, but no luck.

If there are no LEDs lighting up on the motherboard, your power supply might be the culprit. I've had a few die on me, and it usually happens without warning. Just to rule it out, make sure you've tested with a known working PSU if you can. I know it’s frustrating getting stuck like this!

I plugged in a different PSU that I know works, but still no change. It's weird because I was gaming just last night, so I'm baffled as to how it could have suddenly failed.

Just a heads up—JFP1 is crucial for connecting the motherboard to the front panel of your case. If you've been experimenting with orientations, I recommend trying every possible angle again. It can be picky, and sometimes it just needs the right connection to come alive.

I’ve spent over an hour playing around with different orientations and even tried jumping it directly. No response from the system at all.
