Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC with some upgraded components, and it's been running fine after overcoming some BIOS issues. However, I tried to set my RAM to its intended speed of 6000MHz using the XMP profile, and now my PC won't boot. The CPU and RAM indicator lights are on, with the fans spinning normally. After a minute, the CPU light turns off, but the RAM light stays lit. My monitor isn't showing any signal, whether I use the GPU's thunderbolt or the motherboard port. I had a similar problem on the first day, which was fixed by flashing the BIOS from a USB. Should I try updating the BIOS again, or do you have other suggestions? Thanks for any help!

Check the memory compatibility list for your motherboard to ensure your specific RAM model works well with your setup. If it's not listed, you might have trouble running the XMP profile.
Glad to hear you got it fixed! For future reference, if you run into similar issues, remember there's often a clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard that can help. Just use that instead of pulling out the battery if you can.
Thanks everyone for your tips! The CMOS reset fixed everything for me, and I switched to A-XMP instead of Expo. Now everything's running smoothly at 6000MHz!
Try resetting the CMOS. You actually don’t need to update your BIOS this time; just clear the CMOS and see if that resolves the boot issue.
I had a tough time getting my battery out too! I used tweezers to help pull it out, and it worked fine after that.
