Help! My PC Won’t Boot After Upgrading Components

I recently decided to upgrade my budget-built PC from a few years ago. Here's what I changed: I installed a new GPU, CPU, motherboard, power supply, and RAM. Now, when I try to boot, everything lights up and the fans spin, but there's an issue with my AMD Wraith Prizm CPU cooler; it starts spinning but stops after a second or two. My current setup includes: Asrock x870e Taichi motherboard, Gigabyte GeForce 5070 GPU, Ryzen 9 9900X processor, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM (48 GB x2), and a PCCOOLER CPS YS1200 power supply with six Lian Li SL120 fans in a Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL case. I'd really appreciate any feedback or help to get this up and running!

That motherboard isn’t cheap! What made you choose the current power supply? Also, have you considered getting a better CPU cooler? Options like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin or even an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer could help keep your CPU cool.

Wow, sounds like you really did a whole rebuild! Make sure to check if there are any LED indicators on your motherboard. They can help you diagnose the problem. Also, double-check all your cables and make sure everything is seated correctly. By the way, the Ryzen 9900X is a powerhouse, but you might want to think about upgrading that cooler too—it could run hot with that setup!

I get that! My goal was just the motherboard and GPU too, but then I had to switch out a bunch of other parts for compatibility. If your motherboard lights are on, that's a good sign, but keep an eye on whether all your connections are snug. It might be a compatibility hiccup as well.
