I'm relatively new to building PCs, and I ran into a problem today while trying to boot mine up. It started fine at first; the fans sped up, then slowed down, and eventually stopped completely. The RGB lights for the RAM are still on, but the PC fails to boot. Here's what I've already checked:
- The GPU HDMI connection
- All power cables from the PSU to the CPU, GPU, and motherboard; everything looks fine
- I reseated the RAM and even tried running it with just one stick
- I verified that my power cable is working
I really need to get this fixed as soon as possible. My PC build includes a Havn 420 HS case, a Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 motherboard, an Asus TUF 5080 GPU, a Ryzen 7 9800x3d CPU, and a Thermaltake 1200W PSU. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated! I'm willing to pay someone if they can help me sort this out quickly.

It sounds like the RAM might be the culprit. Sometimes, the small gold contacts on the bottom of the RAM sticks can get dirty or damaged, leading to boot issues. If you suspect this, I recommend contacting the manufacturer for a warranty replacement. It could be worth a shot!

Could it be that this is happening even after months of working fine?
