Help! My PC Won’t Boot Up—What Should I Do?

I'm relatively new to PC gaming and have been enjoying my brand new setup for a few months now. However, I ran into a major issue yesterday; when I pressed the power button, there was no display and my peripherals weren't getting any power. I checked all connections, reseated both RAM sticks and the GPU, but nothing seems to work. I'm considering whether I need a new power supply, but I'm not sure if the lights on my GPU would still light up in that case. The fans show some RGB lighting and spin, though. Is there anything else I can do? I'm kind of at a loss here.

Have you tried a CMOS reset? Just pull the little battery off your motherboard for about 10 seconds, then put it back in and see if that helps boot things up again! It's a simple fix that might solve your problem.

Thanks for the suggestion! Does every motherboard have a CMOS battery? Mine is an ASUS PRIME A620M-K.
