I recently switched my PC case, and now it refuses to post. I've ordered a new motherboard since my current one is nearly seven years old, but I'm not convinced that it's the CPU, as I was careful to transplant only the motherboard, RAM, CPU cooler, and network card without unplugging anything significant. So far, I've reseated all the components, tried a different power supply, and removed the RAM sticks to no avail. I'm a bit worried about the GPU, but if it is the problem, I might finally get the chance to upgrade to a 5070! Any advice would really help me out. Also, I tried clearing the CMOS and changing PCI-E lanes, but still nothing. Just to update, I managed to boot with the 2nd and 4th RAM slots populated, but it won't post with all four slots or with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th populated. Plus, it won't boot with the NVMe drive installed. The new motherboard should arrive on Friday, so I hope that will help narrow down the issue, but I'm relieved if it's not the GPU!

It sounds like you might be experiencing a POST loop. Have you checked if there's any connected drives? Sometimes, the system can get stuck if it can't find a bootable drive. Even with an NVMe drive, it's worth ensuring it's properly seated and recognized by the motherboard.
From what you've shared, it seems like a RAM issue since it booted with only the 2nd and 4th slots populated. Try testing each RAM stick individually in each slot to see if one of them is causing the problem. If you're getting mixed results, maybe consider checking the motherboard for any bent pins.
