Help! My PC Won’t Recognize My Mouse Dongle

I accidentally disconnected my Logitech G305 mouse from the PC and now it won't reconnect. I've tried restarting both the PC and mouse, changing batteries, and moving the dongle to different USB ports, but nothing worked. I initially thought the mouse might be faulty, but when I used a different mouse with its own dongle, the same issue occurred. I'm really confused and could use some help figuring this out!

First off, don’t feel dumb—it happens! Here’s a quick fix you can try: Press the Windows key + X to open a helpful menu. From there, go to Device Manager. Since your mouse isn’t working, you’ll need to navigate using the keyboard. Use the arrow keys to explore the categories. Look for "Mice and other pointing devices." If you see your mouse listed, right-click on it (using the keyboard shortcuts), select "Uninstall device," then unplug the dongle. Restart your PC, plug the dongle back in, and see if it gets recognized!

I tried that, but there's no "Mice and other pointing devices" section in my Device Manager at all. Any other suggestions?
