Hey everyone, I need some help with my PC. It's about 4 or 5 years old and recently overheated for the first time. After it cooled down, I cleaned it out and applied new thermal paste. My specs are an Nvidia 3060TI, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X CPU, with 16GB of DDR4 RAM on an MSI M ATX motherboard.
Once I double-checked all the connections and made sure the GPU was seated properly, I tried to power it on. I connected one monitor to the GPU and another to the motherboard, just in case. The monitor connected to the motherboard displayed a strange "Burning" message with a runtime of around 300 hours, then the PC shut down. After letting it sit for an hour, I tried powering it on again, but now neither the motherboard nor GPU seems to be working, and the CPU light on the motherboard is lit.
I'm worried that my CPU might have burned out, but I'd love to hear other ideas if you have them!

That "Burning" message is pretty odd. Make sure to pull the GPU and see if your onboard graphics can get you to boot. Also, you need to consider that something might have caused the overheat—maybe a dying fan or degraded thermal paste wasn't the only culprit. If you removed the CPU for cleaning, be sure the pins are all fine—damaged pins can lead to serious issues!
Just a heads up, your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics, so if the onboard graphics aren't working, it might not be a GPU issue. Try resetting the BIOS, too. Also, removing the hard drives temporarily might help, just in case there's any malware causing trouble. If you're using liquid cooling, check that it's not clogged or malfunctioning.
