I was trying to install a new NVMe drive into my PC, and while laying it down, I accidentally bumped the back of the motherboard against my table. It didn't feel too hard, so I thought it would be fine. Now, after setting everything back up, the PC won't turn on properly. The GPU lights up, the fans start spinning, but after about 10 seconds, it shuts off and tries to restart. There's also no display. I even took out the power supply and reconnected everything, but nothing changed. Do you think I might have accidentally damaged the motherboard? I don't have a spare to test it, so I might need to buy a new one if that's the case.

Hey, make sure you reseat the RAM and CPU just in case. Also, check if the motherboard is touching the case somewhere it shouldn't, as that could cause a short. Sometimes, there's a stray screw or dust that can cause issues too.

I did reseat the RAM, but I forgot about the CPU. I'll check that when I get back from work.
