I recently moved my desk and PC setup to a different side of the room, and now my PC won't power on at all. I plugged it into a different outlet, but there are no lights or sounds—nothing happens. I've already checked the power cable by isolating it and trying it in various outlets, including the original one, but no luck. I've ordered a new power cable and a power supply unit (PSU), but in the meantime, what else can I do to troubleshoot the issue?

First off, have you checked the switch on the back of the power supply? Sometimes it can get flipped accidentally and stop power from reaching your components. It’s a quick thing to check without digging into the internals!
Disassembling it might be your best bet right now. It helps check for any issues with the hardware or connections that could have been disturbed during the move. Just be cautious while doing it!
You might want to consider taking apart the case. Sometimes, connections can get loose when moving it around. Make sure all front panel connections are secure, and reseat everything that connects to the PSU. Also, keep an eye out for any melted plastic or burn marks on connectors. I’ve moved my PCs around a lot, and if done carefully, it shouldn’t damage anything.
Yeah, I flipped the switch a few times, and it's definitely on. I'm just baffled at how it could go wrong so quickly!
