Help! My PC Won’t Turn On After RAM Issues

I'm really stuck here. I built my PC a few months ago and it was working perfectly fine with only one stick of Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 RAM. However, when I tried to add the second stick into the second slot yesterday, things went south. Sometimes the PC would boot, sometimes it wouldn't, and now, it won't power on at all! My motherboard is an ASRock Z890 Lightning WiFi ATX LGA1851. This is my first build, and I'm not sure what to do next. I've tried each RAM stick separately in every slot with no luck. Any advice?

Have you tried taking out the second stick again? See if the PC works with just the first stick back in the fourth slot. If it does, swap the first stick into that slot to check if the second stick is faulty.

I tried both sticks in every slot individually, but still no response. The motherboard light is on, though.

It sounds like there might be a deeper issue if it's not turning on at all now. Check all your connections and make sure the power supply is functioning properly. Do you have another PSU to test with?
