I've been playing Code Vein on my PS5 and have invested around 30 hours into it. Unfortunately, while I was battling some mobs in what I think is the last area of the game, my console crashed. I put it into rest mode, but when I returned, I got a message saying my saved data was corrupted. I know this happens sometimes, but it seems like most solutions are for PC players. Is there any way I can recover my progress, or is it truly lost forever?

Unfortunately, PS5 save files are encrypted, so there's really not much you can do without a backup. If you didn't save your data to the cloud or an external USB before the corruption, it might be tough to recover your files. You might want to check your storage settings to see if there's any automatic backup option that can help, but it sounds grim with how the PS5 handles saves.
So if I manually copy the file to a USB now, it won't help at all?
