I've been experiencing some serious overheating issues with my Redmi Note 11 Pro for the past two months. Despite formatting my phone twice, the problem persists, and I don't think it's a virus since I've scanned it thoroughly. Also, I've neglected to update my Android version for a while now, and the phone hasn't had any repairs. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

What activities were you doing when your phone overheated? Are you charging it at the same time? Sometimes intensive apps can trigger overheating. Just curious if you've noticed any patterns during use!
I was mainly watching Anime on YouTube and playing games like Terraria. It definitely wasn't overheating this much before.
You might want to try downloading the AccuBattery app. It helps you monitor your battery health and temperature to pinpoint any issues. Last time I checked mine, it was around 37°C, which felt normal. Might give you a clearer idea if something's off with yours!
I used AccuBattery, and thankfully it showed no major problems this time. But it didn't get as hot as usual earlier today!
Sounds like it could be a battery issue. Maybe try to check your battery health?
