I'm having a real trouble fitting my RX 9070 XT into my Cooler Master Elite 500 case. I've tried multiple installation methods but can only get two of the three feet into their holes, leaving the PCIe connections misaligned by about 3mm. I've also managed to lock one side of the PCIe, but the other side remains loose, and I ended up chipping the PCIe connector on the card during the process. I've gone through all the usual troubleshooting steps like checking standoffs, loosening screws, and ensuring there are no obstructions, but nothing seems to help. Has anyone had similar issues or can suggest a fix without destroying my case or GPU?

It sounds like you might have a standoff alignment issue. Make sure that all the standoffs are properly installed and that you're using the correct layout for your motherboard. Are you positive you've got them all in the right spots? Sometimes, things look aligned but there's a tiny misplacement that can throw off the installation.
Yes, here's a pic of where my standoffs are, and I checked that they match with the holes on my motherboard. They seem to be in the right position, but it might still be worth double-checking!
