I've been facing some overheating issues with my Ryzen 7 3700X, and it's really puzzling me. The other day, I had to redo the thermal paste because I applied too much, and that seemed to help for a bit. However, right now, I'm just watching videos, and the CPU temperature spiked to an alarming 95 degrees Celsius! My cooler is a Deepcool water cooler, but I can't remember the specific model. Does anyone have any ideas on why my CPU keeps overheating like this?

Sounds like your cooler might be failing. If it’s not cooling properly, that could definitely cause your CPU to overheat. It’s worth checking out.
Have you checked if the pump is working? If you place your hand on it, do you feel any vibrations? And what about the tubes—do they feel equally warm? If one is hot and the other is cold, it could indicate a pump failure.

I can feel slight vibrations from the pump, but it might just be from my old case fans. Both of the tubes are really hot, though.
