Help! My Ryzen PC keeps crashing and showing blue screens

I'm facing a frustrating issue with my gaming setup. I've got an Asus Prime B650M-A WiFi II motherboard paired with a Ryzen 5 8500G processor, a Gigabyte 650W power supply, and two 16GB RAM sticks. While I can play games like Warframe, Overwatch, League of Legends, and Phasmophobia without any problems, my PC keeps crashing or restarting and displaying a blue screen. I had a technician tell me that the SSD was the culprit, so I replaced it, but unfortunately, the problem hasn't gone away. Has anyone else dealt with this issue and found a fix?

Have you checked your Event Viewer? It might give you more clues about what's causing those blue screens. You could also be getting Kernel Power Error 41, which can point to power issues.

Yeah, it only shows Kernel Power Error 41. Not sure what to make of that.

What specific model is your PSU? Have you considered disabling XMP/EXPO for your RAM? Sometimes that can help with stability issues, especially if you’re overclocking.

It's a Gigabyte P650SS Ice Plus Silver, and the RAM sticks are identical. I haven’t tried disabling XMP/EXPO yet, though.

Gigabyte power supplies aren’t the best out there, but their 650W models are usually decent. You might want to test it with a multimeter if you have access. Also, ensure your chipset drivers and BIOS are updated. I’ve seen issues with RAM when using integrated graphics since it can affect stability. Consider running some stability tests on your RAM for extra peace of mind!

Thank you! I’ll definitely check that out. I've lost faith in techs; they all insisted the SSD was the issue.
