I've got a weird problem with my keyboard. For some reason, my shift key is behaving like the tab key while I'm gaming. It's activating the tab function instead of what the shift key normally does. I've already tried restarting my PC, but that didn't fix anything. Has anyone experienced this before and knows how to resolve it?

This sounds like it could be a driver issue or maybe even a hardware problem with your keyboard. Sometimes, keyboards can start acting up if they’re old or malfunctioning. You might want to try updating your keyboard drivers or testing it with another keyboard if you have one available. If it’s a Lenovo IdeaPad 330, make sure you’ve got the latest updates from Lenovo as well.
It could also be caused by unexpected software, like a game shortcut or something that’s remapped your keys. Try checking your game settings to see if something got changed there. And yeah, make sure your keys aren't sticking or anything like that. Sometimes a good clean can work wonders!
