Hey everyone, I ran into a weird issue with my Tecknet TK-MS007 mouse. When I restarted my work computer, it suddenly switched to a Windows generic driver, and now my mouse isn't functioning. I can't seem to find the original driver at home or even on Tecknet's website. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to get it back to work?

Something similar happened to me. My Windows 11 machine updated itself, and suddenly my custom mapped mouse buttons went back to factory settings.
I can no longer remap mouse buttons on my Tecknet mouse. It looks like Microsoft updated their Mouse and Keyboard Center app to no longer support Tecknet. Going into the Mouse and Keyboard Center tells me that it cannot detect my mouse.
Restarting worked for me this time - the mouse went back to using the settings I had originally given it (so they are in there somewhere! Just not where I can see it?). I dread the next update because I have no way to remap those buttons if they come unmapped again.
Well, if it was working before, then the Windows driver might not be compatible with your mouse's wireless features. Try to troubleshoot it a bit: make sure it's charged or the USB receiver is securely connected. Sometimes just unplugging the USB receiver and plugging it back in can help.
What’s the actual problem with the Windows driver? It’s a pretty standard mouse, right? It might just be lacking extra features, but usually, those basic drivers should work. Can you give me more details about what's not working?
