Help! My Time Capsule Video is Only Playing Halfway

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a predicament and figured I'd reach out for some advice. A few days ago, I finally got my time capsule from high school, which I created during my senior year. Back then, we were tasked with making a video, and I edited it on iMovie using a school MacBook. I saved the video, along with some other shorter clips and pictures, onto a 16GB Lexar flash drive. Now, I'm trying to watch it on my newer 2021 MacBook Pro, but I can only view the first 16 minutes of my 43-minute video. It keeps playing as if it's still running, but I can't get past that mark. I've tried moving the file to my desktop but still have the same issue. Is there any way I can recover or fully watch my video?

Have you tried copying the video from the flash drive to your MacBook and then watching it? Sometimes, files work better when played from the local drive rather than directly from the USB stick. Just make sure it’s not still doing the same thing when playing it from your desktop.

I did move it to my desktop, but it still cuts off at the same spot. I'm starting to think it might be a lost cause.
