Help! My Windows 10 PC Won’t Boot – Any Ideas?

I've run into a real problem with my PC – it won't boot up at all. Honestly, I'm not sure what's happened. Here's what I did: First, I tried booting from a USB drive to test Linux, changed the boot order, and disabled safe boot. Once I finished testing, I went back to Windows and decided to format my C drive, letting it run overnight. However, I forgot to reset the boot order after that and removed the USB. Now, when I try to boot up my PC, I just see a plain black screen with no MSI logo or anything. It's super frustrating!

Sounds like you might need some crash logs to analyze this Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) issue. If you can boot into Windows normally or even in Safe Mode, check for dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. If there are any, zip them up and upload to a file-sharing site like Catbox or Mediafire. We usually need multiple dump files for a clearer picture. If you only find one or none, follow the guide to change your dump settings to Small Memory Dump, so we have more data next time!

It's possible your memory is being fully retested. Do you know how much RAM you have? If it's been stuck on the black screen for a while, try shutting down the computer, unplugging it completely, and holding the power button for about 30 seconds before trying to boot again. If that doesn't work, consider doing a CMOS reset.

I have 16 GB of RAM, two 8 GB sticks. I’m not sure how long it stayed on that black screen, maybe just a few minutes.
